Well Kyle and I made a huge decision and decided to come home for a day and try it out. It has been very nice so far ( and being able to call the nurses repeatedly while we are here!) It also has given us time to think of all the support we have received. We are overwhelmed with everything that our friends and family have done for us. Also the support of people that don't know us! It continues to make us ask ourselves " How will we ever express the gratitude we have, so people know how truly thankful we are?" Any ideas??
Raylee is having some new meds. They are going to give her 4 doses of steroids to help her lungs so that hopefully she can move to the conventional ventilator ( which means possibly holding her!!) and get her over this hump she has been stuck on. They gave her her first dose at 2 so hopefully we will know if they are helping by tomorrow. Watch for results!
Love,
Kyle & Jane

  1. It is hard to show people how truely thankful you are, but trust me people know how you feel. It is great that she is doing so good. I am glad you got to come home, that is a hard choice but a little break is good for you guys. Let us know you if you need anything. I have lots of clothes for you when you guys come home if you would like them. She is beautiful. Heidi

  3. Our Dearest Jane,
We just want you to know that we think about you, Kyle and Raylee every day! We miss seeing your smile around the office. Please know that we are behind you all and we are here for you. There are several people that stay on top of this site just so we can see Raylee's improvements. Please know that we all realize how much you appreciate everything. Stay strong and we look forward to seeing our baby girl soon!!!

  4. One of the best ways for you to show to gratitude you have received is to keep loving and caring for Raylee and stay strong (I know easier said than done). Never give up and keep your head held high. Even in tough times, remember your support system. Your love for your family has gotten you to where you are now and it will continue to get you further. She is a beautiful baby and has an awesome set of parents and a great caring family.

Keep the updates coming!! Take care and please know we are thinking of you. I know you have heard this before, but please let us know if you need anything. Heading that way on the 17th of this month. Keep your head up.
